High School Students

If you are a junior- or senior-level high school student who would like to enroll in one or two classes, you may do so by:

  • Submitting an admission application.

  • Submitting a High School Recommendation Form. This form requires written approval from the designated school official, as well as parental or guardian approval. The form is available at your high school.

  • Taking the appropriate CC placement assessments.

High school students taking occupational courses, such as agriculture, aviation, business, computers, culinary arts, drafting, welding, and nursing assistant classes, can complete a COMPACT program registration packet and save up to 50 percent on the cost of each course. Click here to find out more about the COMPACT program and Tech Prep.

High school students can get a head start toward their career goals in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering,  Math) in the RUNNING START program during their junior and senior years.  Students earn reverse credits which meet degree requirements for college and state university programs and also satisfy high school graduation requirements.  Learn more at the Running Start Website.
