English Language Acquisition

Improve your English skills by enrolling in our English language acquisition (ELA) classes!

You will be placed in one of six levels of classes based on your English speaking abilities and understanding. Classes are adapted to meet your needs and goals.

You will receive instruction in grammar, conversation, reading, and writing of English that is used in everyday life and work, community, family and higher education situations. Plus, we offer special classes to English language acquisition students in pronunciation, reading, writing and computer skills. You will use a variety of materials in class, including computer software. In our project-based approach, students learn to give presentations to their classes on topics of importance to their goals.

Best of all, you'll get the chance to practice English in a relaxed setting with both native speakers and non-native speakers like yourself.
