You’ve made the decision to continue your education, and we’re so glad you’ve chosen to apply at Cochise College. After determining your residency status and completing an online application, you need to have transcripts and test scores from previous schools sent to us, and you may need to take a placement assessment test.

You should have legal residency determined when you apply, prior to the time of registration and payment of fees. Your residency will determine your classification for tuition, and it is your responsibility to register for classes under the correct residence determination.
Complete the Student Release Form to authorize the release of information to individuals or agencies, thereby waiving certain student rights established under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
International students planning to attend college full-time, online/distance learning, and Mexican citizens/border commuters planning to attend college part-time should visit the international students page and follow the steps.
Once admitted to the college, you will take your picture for your official college ID at the Admissions/Registration Office. Make sure to bring government-issued photo ID with you. Find out more about available student ID cards here.
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid, regardless of their parents’ financial status. Complete the free FAFSA application online at FAFSA.ed.gov. Our school code is 001072. Visit the Financial Aid page for more information. You will need to check your email in MyCochise for updates on Cochise College Financial Aid eligibility.

Once you have your placement test scores, visit an Advisor in Student Services for class selection and your degree plan. Or you can go to Advising & Counseling page for more information.
Fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. If you have been awarded financial aid, your registration will be retained, and you will not be dropped for non-payment. You can also set up a payment plan at MyCochise under the My Classes tab/Payment Plan.
