Cochise College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. In 2006, the college received the maximum accreditation of 10 years; the next focused re-accreditation visit will be in 2015-2016. The college holds memberships in the Council of North Central Two-Year Colleges, the American Association of Community Colleges, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and the Association of Community College Trustees.
