Includes an in-depth analysis of the historical and sociological underpinnings of the racial and ethnic based minority status of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, Jewish Americans and women. Also includes a review of the present socio-economic and cultural status of each group, their relationship with other social groups and future trends.
