Senate Online Committee

The Online Committee is a standing committee of the College's Senate. By Policy 1001 (Governance), the Online Committee is charged to:

  1. consider, evaluate and recommend policies related to the Online Campus to the College Senate
  2. address College-wide issues that affect the Online Campus
  3. develop, implement, and evaluate procedures pertaining to the development, compensation, and ownership of online courses in accordance with current College policy
  4. evaluate and approve online courses for development and compliance with established outcomes and assessments
  5. in collaboration with appropriate department chairs and assistant deans, develop procedures necessary to govern the unique teaching environment of the world wide web

The Online Committee meets at 1 p.m. on the first Friday of every month. The meetings are held online using the College's iMeet system. For information about attending a meeting, please contact the Director of the Online Campus.
