Internet Services

Cochise College offers excellent Internet services for employees and students. These services are managed by our network manager from the server farms located on the Sierra Vista and Douglas Campuses, and our outlying academic centers. File transfer services (FTP) are available on an as-needed basis.

Each employee with access to a PC has access to the world wide web. These PC's do not necessarily need to reside in an office since all of our institutional computer labs have access to the web as well.

The Sierra Vista Campus has been configured with an enterprise wireless system providing faculty, staff and students with Internet access anywhere within the campus.

Electronic mail (email) is widely available throughout the College, and all employees are eligible to request an email account. This request can be completed and processed online from our website:

You can access College email from an email client installed on your PC (using a POP3 account configuration) or over the web. See our Email Management page for more information.

An Internet Services and Electronic Mail policy has been implemented in order to comply with federal and state laws, as well as college safety and academic policies. It is a requirement to read and be familiar with this document in order to ensure the proper usage of Internet resources.
