FAQ's Faculty and Advisors

Web for faculty and advisors allows faculty members to view and print selected information in the student database using web technology. It provides access to the faculty member's schedule and a listing of students in each of the faculty member's courses. Only the primary instructor for a CRN will be allowed to access that course.

Follow these steps:

  • Click on the Secure Area link located at the bottom of the INFOnline faculty information page.
  • Using the mouse, click on the User ID box.
  • Enter your Social Security number without dashes.
  • Tab to or click in the PIN box.
  • Enter your six-digit date of birth in MMDDYY format.
  • Click on the login button. Verify login by re-entering your PIN in the box.
  • Click on the login button. Change your PIN to a six-digit code that you will remember and keep confidential. Change your PIN through the Personal Information Menu. When 10 total login failures occur, you will be locked out. The system will automatically log you out after 10 minutes of non-activity. 

There are three main menus in the application.

The first is the main menu that is used to access the web products. The Faculty and Advisors Menu appears at this level, as well as any other menus that pertain to the individual who logged in. Click on the faculty and advisors link.

The second menu is the Faculty and Advisors Menu. The following items are available on this menu:

  • Term Selection - Choose a term to work with.
  • CRN Selection - Choose a CRN to work with.
  • Faculty Detail Schedule - Provides a listing of instructor's courses for a particular term.
  • Faculty Schedule by Day and Time - Provides graphic representation for schedule.
  • Detail Class List - Provides an alphabetical class list with selected student information
  • Summary Class List - Provides class list with SSNs and other student information.
  • Faculty and Advisor Security Information - Depicts security constraints governing access.

Detail wait list, summary wait list, mid-term grades, final grades, registration overrides, registration add/drop, and electronic gradebook by component are not currently available.

From both the Detail and Summary Class Lists, click on a specific student's name to go to the View Address(es) and Phone(s) page. To navigate to the student information page, click the hyperlink button at the bottom of the screen. From the student information page, you can click on the hyperlink button at the bottom of the screen to view the student's schedule.

Two other options are available from the Faculty and Advisors Menu:

  • To exit the program, click on the exit button on the top of the page.
  • When you are finished, close your browser to protect your privacy.

The user should contact the Help Desk through the Cochise College home page contact link to report login and other problems.
