INFOnline Student Instructions

Login Instructions
Because of the sensitivity of using Social Security numbers, we have generated a unique student ID number for you. We also have created an email account for your use.

There are three places where your student ID number will be used:
on the student infomation system, email and Blackboard.

Student Information System
The student information system provides schedules, registration, grades and other information. To access the system:

1. Access the Cochise College website.
2. Click the INFOnline link located in the right-hand menu.
3. Click on student information.
4. Click on the secure area link located near the bottom of the page.
5. Type in your student ID (it is a number that starts with C000..).
6. Type in your PIN. If you are a first-time user, your PIN will be your birthdate (in mmddyy format).

Email
Your email address looks like this: C0000XXXX@cochise.edu. Your new student ID number is the C0000XXXX part of your e-mail address. Note that the ID number starts with an upper case "C". You should check this email regularly since the College will use it to send official notices and other important information.

To access your email:

1. Access the Cochise College homepage.
2. Click the "check my email" link in the right-hand menu.
3. Click on Outlook Web Access for Students.
4. There are two different ways to log into your email account:
1. If your screen has two windows: Enter your full email address (like C0000XXXX@cochise.edu) for the user name and your birth date (in mmddyy format) or your password.
2. If your screen has three windows: Enter your student ID for the user name, your birthdate (in mmddyy format) for your password, and cochisecc for the domain.
5. You can both send and receive email from this site.

Blackboard
Your class may be using Blackboard. All online classes and ITV classes use Blackboard; in addition, some traditional classes use Blackboard. If your class is using Blackboard, you may access that class by:

1. Access the Cochise College website.
2. Click the Online Learning link.
3. Click on Blackboard.
4. Enter your student ID number for the user name. Your password will be your birth date (in mmddyy format).
5. You will see links to your classes on the right side of the screen. There is an email capability inside Blackboard to send mail to your instructor and classmates.
6. Be sure to email your instructor to report that you have successfully logged in to Blackboard.
