Animal Science Club
The Animal Science Club provides information and networking opportunities to Cochise College students who are interested in the animal sciences (veterinary science, zoology, farrier science, etc.). The club also provides volunteer services to the community and to various animal shelters. The club meets on the Sierra Vista Campus but is open to all students. Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA)

AFCEA is a patriotic, educational, non-profit organization of college students dedicated to scientific, industrial and military preparedness for the common defense, thus contributing to national security and peace. AFCEA provides a medium for the exchange of ideas on communications, electronics and information systems. Membership is open to information management and electronics students. Campus Crusade for Christ
Campus Crusade for Christ is an interdenominational, student Christian organization that provides regular opportunities to study and discuss the Bible, worship, and pray in a group setting. It also provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement and spiritual development among members. The club meets on the Sierra Vista Campus but is open to all students. Card Club
The Cochise College Card Club meets once a week - usually Thursday evenings - in the lobby of Huachuca Hall on the Douglas Campus. Advisor is Carlos Arguello, arguelloc@cochise.edu, (520) 417-4745.

Cinéaste Circle
The Cinéaste Circle is a film club that holds regular screenings and discussions that are open to members, interested students and members of the public. The club's purpose is to cultivate a passion for great films, an understanding of filmic structures, and an appreciation of the role cinema plays in contemporary culture. The club meets on the Sierra Vista Campus but is open to all students. Faculty advisor is Mary Coyle, (520) 515-5499.

Club Kick-It
Club Kick-It holds soccer clinics and fund-raisers at Cochise College and in surrounding communities in an effort to raise awareness of the sport of soccer and the Cochise College's women's soccer program. Advisor is John Pearson, (520) 417-4747.

Dance Club
The purpose of this club is to ignite a passion for dance in as many people as possible. Cha-cha, Bachata, Rhumba, Salsa, and East Coast are some examples of the different styles of dance that are practiced. Club members meet every Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in Room 301 on the Sierra Vista Campus. No partners needed, no experience necessary, only a love for dancing and fun. Entrepreneur Club
The Entrepreneur Club provides students with hands-on entrepreneurial experience through structured events, projects, and a student-run business. The club's goal is to provide you with the necessary experience on how to start, operate, and sustain a business of your own. Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The fellowship's primary purpose is to promote a firm foundation of academic and athletic success grounded in a strong sense of Christian values while embracing faith as a wholesome lifestyle. Faculty advisor is Steve Lane, lanes@cochise.edu, (520) 417-4145.

International Club
The International Club exists to encourage international activities on campus, contribute to the international spirit and intercultural awareness of students, and to assist all foreign students with issues related to attending Cochise College. The club meets on the Douglas Campus, but membership is open to all students who are interested in international affairs and activities. Advisor is Libby Poe, poel@cochise.edu, (520) 417-4118.

Literary Guild
The guild is a community of readers whose desire is to encourage and promote the study of literary classics. Participants include Cochise College students and members of the community who assemble and engage in reflective discussion of selected works. Math and Computer Sciences Club
This club for math or computer science majors includes members from both Cochise and the University of Arizona South. Activities include speakers, activities, advising sessions, and, generally, good times for geeks. Performing Arts Programs

Cochise College's performing arts programs provide the practical breadth and depth aspect of musical study for an associate of arts degree with an emphasis in music. Many students enroll in these courses simply to enrich their college experience.

Philosophy Club
The Philosophy Club is dedicated to the exchange of concepts, ideas, and opinions in order to facilitate critical thinking and in order to pursue wisdom and enrich lives. The club assembles and engages in open and free discussions exploring the major questions of philosophy with the hope of instilling a passion for wisdom. The club meets 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the first and third Mondays of each month in the Library Commons on the Sierra Vista Campus. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society
The purpose of this organization is to recognize and encourage scholarship among community/junior college students. To achieve this purpose, PTK provides opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Membership is open to all students with a 3.5 or higher grade point average who have completed 12 units of transfer credit at Cochise College and are actively pursuing an associate’s degree. Pre-Health Career Club
This club is for students interested in nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, medicine, or any other career in the health field. The purpose is to investigate health careers in general, to learn about the different opportunities available, as well as to understand the preparation needed and the application processes that are required. Members organize a Health Career Fair on the Douglas Campus and carry out study-visits to Mayo Clinic Hospital and Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. Pre-Pharmacy Club
The Pre-Pharmacy Club mission is to provide information, resources, and opportunities to introduce students to the profession of pharmacy. In addition, the club seeks to help its members become qualified applicants to a professional college of pharmacy. The organization seeks to encourage community involvement and to present members with opportunities to serve through volunteer service. All current Cochise College students enrolled in at least a one-credit course are eligible to be members. The club meets at the Sierra Vista Campus but is open to all students. Psychology Club
The mission of the Psychology Club is to explore and promote psychology awareness by means of mental cultivation through coadjuvancy and involvement in the community. The goal of the psychology club is to improve the quality of life in Cochise County through education and involvement. Our main objectives are to explore psychology through discussion, debate, and community participation and to benefit Cochise County through the use of psychology. Residence Hall Association (RHA)
The RHA provides programs and services to residence hall students and staff on the Douglas Campus. Activities have included ice cream socials, dances, and other social events. Contact Chris Bermingham, berminghamc@cochise.edu, (520) 417-4115.

Science Club
Members of the Science Club meet on the Douglas Campus. The club is for anyone who wants to experience science in a different manner; the only requisite is to wish to learn more about the world. Activities include field trips, an Earth Day celebration, and other activities. Social Concerns Club
The Social Concerns Club provides assistance to persons in the international community served by Cochise College. Members give direct service assistance to organizations such as schools, orphanages, half-way homes, food banks, nursing homes, and other organizations by providing services tailored to meet specific humanitarian needs. These include tutoring, donations of food, blankets and school supplies, and coordination with other campus organizations in common efforts to support identified outreach programs.

Spanish Club

Members of the Spanish Club, in order to better understand the language and Hispanic culture, assemble and engage in cultural and language-enhancing discussions about the Hispanic world. The club wishes to nurture a passion for Spanish by involving not only students, but also community members. The Spanish Club meets in Sierra Vista but is open to all students. Strong Oak Historical Society (Society for Creative Anachronism)
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the history of the European Middle Ages. The club selectively recreates medieval culture. Members design and build costumes; make armor, weapons, and shields; and learn how it feels to dress in medieval attire. This club is associated with the Barony March of Mon Tonitrus. The club meets in Sierra Vista, but membership is open to all Cochise College students. For more information, contact the club advisor Jeni Patton, pattonj@cochise.edu, (520) 515-5328.

Student Nurse’s Association

Technology Club
The Technology Club provides members with exposure to technology outside the classroom. Members enjoy monthly events to increase their knowledge of technology both personally and professionally and are given opportunities to participate in technology community service projects, such as websites for non-profit organizations and other projects. Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA)
VICA is the national organization for students in trade, industrial, technical and health occupation programs in public high schools, vocational schools, junior colleges and community colleges. VICA offers leadership, citizenship and character development program to complement the vocational student’s skill training. Its programs help students to better prepare themselves for the labor market. The club emphasizes respect for the dignity of work, high standards in trade ethics, workmanship, scholarship and safety. "Z" Club

The "Z" Club is a campus organization designed exclusively for and by AvanZando participants. This is an organization where you can build community, a baby-sitting cooperative, or ride exchanges. It is also a group that can raise money for social events or field trips. This is the place to meet and get to know others who have decided to be creators of their own lives.
