The MISSL is one of several computer labs at the Douglas campus that provides open entry/exit use of PC's to currently enrolled Cochise College students. The computers are available on a first come, first serve basis. They can be used to write english papers, work on class assignments and projects, access WebStudy (the College's online campus) and much more.

All work stations are connected to the Internet. The PC's are installed with Microsoft Windows operating system and include a basic package of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The lab also offers free tutoring services to currently enrolled students, and is a relaxed and social environment where students gather to study and share ideas. The lab's resources include the following:

  • Wireless connectivity (Bring your own laptop!) .
  • Large tables for group study and discussions.
  • Reference materials for some Cochise College classes.
  • Free tutoring.

  • Open entry/exit PC use  --  22 PC’s available on a first come, first serve basis (see MISSL hours).
    Instructors: Please call in advance to reserve seats for special class projects.

Tutoring
     Math:  Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
     English  Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
     Learn to use turnitin.com
     Miscellaneous subjects when available (ex: Biology, History)
     General PC use: Email, word processing, internet research 
     for class assignments, your CC account, Webstudy, etc.
