ADA/Disablity Services

The ADA/Disabilities Office at Cochise College provides a variety of support services to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Our goal is to empower students, foster independence, promote success and assist students in discovering and developing their full potential.

In compliance with Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Cochise College seeks to provide support services to those students whose disabilities require special assistance. The College uses a reasonable accommodation process to determine a meaningful adjustment for students with disabilities to participate in the educational process.

Our ADA/Disabilities Office provides a variety of services tailored to individual needs and documentation of the disability. The office acts as a liaison with faculty, staff and outside agencies and assists students with special test-taking arrangements, classroom accommodations and resource referrals. All services provided by the ADA/Disabilities Office are free of charge.
