Adding Comment to Discussion Board

Question. I keep getting an error message when I try to add a comment to the discussion board. It says something about inserting the FrontPage CD or the Microsoft Small Business 2000 CD (or some other Microsoft CD). Why is this happening?

Answer. That error is caused by the WYSIWYG editor and it means that the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser on your computer has a problem: the triedit.dll file (or some other .dll file) has been disassociated or is missing (aren't you glad I told you that?). To fix this problem, the easiest thing to do is remove and reinstall Internet Explorer.

You can also just turn off the WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") editor, which should also fix this problem. That procedure is covered in another FAQ.
