Earn a Degree or Certificate Online
Cochise College offers many degrees and certificates; however, those listed on this page can be earned entirely online. Please contact our online counselor if you have questions about these programs.
Degrees
Cochise College is accredited to offer associate degrees online. We currently offer the following:
- Associate of Art - Economics
- Associate of Art - General Requirements (this is not the same as the Associate of General Studies)
- Associate of Art - Political Science
- Associate of General Studies (AGS)
- Associate of Business - General (ABUS)
- Associate of Business - Computer Information Systems (ABUS CIS)
Students may also complete:
AGEC - A
AGEC - B
These are the Arizona General Education Curriculum for Art and Business respectively. The Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) is a 35 semester credit "block" that you can complete at any Arizona community college. There is a separate AGEC for art, science, and business. Students may complete the AGEC for art (AGEC-A) and the AGEC for business (AGEC-B) online. Completion of the AGEC with a grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale guarantees your admission to the Arizona public universities if you are a resident student. Non-residents must have a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Completion of the AGEC also means that you will have met the lower-division general studies requirements at any of the Arizona public universities for the majors that articulate with that AGEC.
These degrees may be completed entirely online....provided that students score into college-level courses through the placement test.
Additionally, Cochise College offers several degrees in intelligence operations for members of the armed forces who are working in that field. (Note: This link is to the Fort Huachuca website, where the IO programs are described.)
