Cochise College SBDC awarded the 2018 Arizona Small Business Development Center of Excellence


Cochise College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) received the 2018 Arizona Small Business Development Center of Excellence award this year for its record of success, innovation, and economic impact. The center offers one-on-one counseling sessions at no cost, workshops, business plan development, marketing strategies, strategic planning, research, trade name certification, procurement registration, and personnel management.

In 2018 the center helped start 38 new businesses, create/retain 177 jobs and increased sales among the businesses. In addition to the Center of Excellence Award, the center won the SBDC’s Economic 2018 Impact Business Analyst Award.

This award honors Cochise College Small Business Development Center for its excellence in providing value to small businesses and advancing program delivery and management through innovation, training, and counseling.
