Take Back the Night
April 3 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Take Back the Night is an international event with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms. Cochise College’s Take Back the Night event is one of the hundreds of events that are held in over 30 countries annually. The event includes a local resource fair, free food, a candlelight vigil, survivor testimonies, a musical performance by a local band, and much more. Another project that will be featured at the Take Back the Night event is the Clothesline project, which is a vehicle for people affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a t-shirt. They then hang the shirt on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violence against women.
