Big enough to explore and small enough to care

No matter your age, Cochise College has something for you. You can start with us and transfer to a four-year school, learn a new skill for career advancement or just take a class to explore a new hobby. Cochise College has hundreds of classes to choose from!

Get started on your degree or certificate

1. Apply

Complete the Cochise College Admission Application online or in person at any campus or center. You will receive a student identification number and a Cochise College email address in your acceptance letter by mail and email.

3. Placement for Classes

The reading, math and english test help place you in classes where you are most likely to succeed. First-time college students are required to take a placement test. Students who have completed classes at another college or university must request official transcripts to be sent to Cochise College.

5. Meet an Advisor

Once placement tests are complete and transcripts are evaluated, advisors will be able to assist with registration, choosing a major. You can plan ahead and check your progress on my degree planAn appointment is necessary if meeting with an advisor at the Benson or Willcox centers. 

7. Pay Tuition & Fees

There are three easy ways to pay: in person, by phone (SV 520-515-5416 DC 520-417-4076) or online through MyCochise. Payment plans are available for students registering early. If using financial aid or VA benefits, contact the financial aid office to make sure everything is in order.

2. Plan Funding

The key to successfully planning is to start as early as possible, it is recommended to start about 3 months early! Cochise College has many ways to help pay for college

4. New Student Orientation

Attending new student orientation is a great way to prepare for a successful first semester. New students starting in the fall should sign up for a new student orientation. 

6. Register

Students can view the class schedule and register in person for classes at all college locations or register online through your student account at MyCochise. High school students need to submit a one-time concurrent enrollment form (PDF) before registering for classes.

8. Get your textbook

Once you have registered for classes, you can rent or purchase new or used textbooks at the bookstore on campus or online through the my classes tab in your MyCochise account. On-campus bookstores are located on the Douglas and Sierra Vista campuses. 

Personal Enrichment Classes

Looking to take a class to enrich your life? Maybe learn a new language, throw a ceramic pot, or study another specific program targeted to your hobbies and interests? Cochise College offers an array of programs for those seeking personal enrichment, but not a degree. The college also offers an array of non-credit classes through the Center for Lifelong Learning.

1. Apply

Apply online or in person at any location. You will receive an identification number and college email address by mail and email. Note: Select transfer from another college or university as your student type.

2. Register

Students view a class schedule can register in person for classes in person at all college campuses or centers. Register online through your student account at MyCochise. 

3. Pay Tuition & Fees
