About 50 students will be recognized for earning their High School Equivalency (HSE) diplomas during Cochise College’s Adult Education Graduation at 7 p.m. at the Douglas Campus.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, marks the culmination of these persevering students who have successfully navigated the challenges of adult education and passed all five required GED tests. The ceremony will officially award them High School Equivalency diplomas, marking a pivotal moment in their educational journeys.
The evening will feature student speakers Jocelin Navalles-Peralta and John Boothby, who will share their personal stories of perseverance and the impact the adult education program has had on their lives. In addition four students will be recognized for their academic excellence with scholarships. Two students will receive the Wick Scholarship, recognizing their outstanding dedication and academic excellence while two other students will receive the Sierra Vista Rotary scholarship for their commitment to community and academic growth.
