Cochise College is now enrolling for adult education classes, including High School Equivalency (HSE), GED preparation, and English for
Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses.
Classes begin August 18 and are held at multiple locations across Cochise County,
including Sierra Vista, Douglas, Benson and Willcox.
Cochise College Adult Education offers face-to-face instruction in HSE/GED diploma
preparation and ESOL. Registration for these programs is underway in Sierra Vista,
Douglas, Benson, and Willcox, with placement testing scheduled for August 5 and 6.
Day and night classes are offered in Douglas and Sierra Vista. Evening classes are
offered in Benson and Willcox.
“Adult education is the beginning of new opportunities,” said Cara Elkins, Director
of Adult Education at Cochise College. “We’re proud to offer flexible, supportive
programs that help learners take their next step whether it’s toward college, career
or personal growth.”

Cochise College Adult Education serves learners ages 16 and older who are not enrolled
in high school. Applications and the schedule are available on the college’s website.
To register, students must complete the application and participate in placement testing
on August 5 or 6. You can download and complete the application and bring it with a valid photo ID. Enrollment is open, and tuition is currently
free.
