Cochise College has been named one of the top-ranked community colleges in the nation and the No. 1 community college in Arizona, according to Smart Asset’s 2025 rankings for two-year colleges across the United States. 

 

The study evaluated institutions offering associate degrees and certificates using a combination of tuition and fees, student-to-faculty ratio, and retention rate. The metrics reflect both affordability and quality of education. 

 

Cochise College, has two campuses and four centers in Cochise County, earned a national ranking of 38th and secured the top spot in Arizona.
