Cochise College Marketing team earns five medallions at NCMPR

The Cochise College Marketing, Communications and Advancement team won five medallion awards at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 6 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The honors include two gold and three silver awards recognizing outstanding achievement in community college marketing and public relations.

 

The digital advertising for Early College's Summer Camps was recognized with a Gold Medallion. The college also received a Gold Medallion for the Cochise Red Hot podcast in the digital and electronic media category.  

 

Cochise College earned a Silver Medallion for its newly redesigned website, along with two additional Silver Medallions recognizing the 60th anniversary logo and special event campaign. 

 

"Every award we receive is a reflection of our team's creativity and dedication," said Robyn Martin, assistant dean for marketing, communications and advancement. "It's an honor to see our collaboration recognized nationally."

 

The Cochise College marketing team includes Robyn Martin, assistant dean of marketing; Sharrina Cook-General, media and communications manager/PIO; Dan Gordon, web administrator; Dani Foti, graphic designer and photographer; Donna Brown, digital media marketing coordinator; and James Roth, multimedia content specialist. Student content creators involved with the Cochise Red Hot podcast include Alejandro Gutierrez, Maddie Colley, and Jayrick Almodovar. 

 

These accomplishments add to a long history of marketing and communication accolades. In addition to multiple Medallion Awards, the college's marketing team has also earned Paragon Awards from NCMPR, demonstrating excellence on a national level. 

 

The annual Medallion Awards honor the best marketing and communications efforts from two-year colleges across the region.

 

NCMPR has more than 1,600 members from nearly 600 colleges across the United States and Canada.
