Cochise College Small Business Development Center will host DreamBuilder, a free five-week entrepreneurship course designed to help aspiring and early-stage business owners.
The program is offered in collaboration with Arizona State University, the Thunderbird School of Global Management and the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation.
The DreamBuilder series will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 8, 15, 22 and 29, and May 6 at the Cochise College Downtown Center, Room A108.
The course is open to the public and free to attend. Registration is requested and required for participants.
Led by DreamBuilder facilitator Kim Ryan, the course will guide participants through the fundamentals of building a business plan. During the first session, attendees will explore their big-picture goals and begin using the DreamBuilder business plan generator to shape ideas into formal plans.
Organizers strongly encourage participants to attend the full series to gain the most benefit.
Comparable entrepreneurship boot camps can cost nearly $2,000, making DreamBuilder a valuable no-cost opportunity for individuals interested in starting or strengthening a business.
The Cochise College SBDC regularly offers workshops, training and one-on-one advising to support small business growth and economic development across Cochise County.
