Honest, well-educated, certified technicians are in high demand in today’s world of sophisticated automobiles. Each year, manufacturers add more electronics, computer devices, and safety features than any technician has seen in the past. There is also the onset of electric and hybrid vehicles now available.
The number of qualified technicians in the field is far lower than the demand. Auto repair shops, dealerships, and specialty shops are searching for technicians who have the drive and the education to repair these types of vehicles. After completing the associate degree program, you will be well prepared to enter the world of modern automotive repair and have received the knowledge it takes to become a certified technician at the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
