The LMS Support Team functions to ensure Cochise College’s learning management system (LMS) and related educational technology (EdTech) tools provide an exceptional user experience, are functioning as expected and securely, and that faculty, staff, and students are supported while navigating the LMS.

We can assist you with Moodle, Panopto, Turnitin, Respondus (LockDown Browser, Monitor, & 4.0), Brickfield, Sensus Access, and Class for Zoom. Check the Moodle homepage for extended hours that we may offer throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.

Panopto (Video Management Platform)accordian open close

Overview:
Panopto is Cochise College's video platform that can be used for recording, managing, and sharing educational videos. Panopto is designed to facilitate lecture capture, flipped classrooms, video assignments, and other forms of video-based learning.

Turnitin (Assignment Originality Checker)accordian open close

Overview:
Turnitin is used on assignments to promote academic integrity. Turnitin checks students' work for originality, grammar, spelling, and syntax, and if any text was generated using AI.

Respondus (Exam Security & Remote Proctoring)accordian open close

Overview:
Respondus LockDown Browser is an application that restricts students' access to other applications or websites while they take an exam. Respondus Monitor is an additional feature that uses webcam and microphone to record students during the exam to deter cheating. Please note there are two different versions of Respondus LockDown Browser - one for Moodle and one for Pearson.

Overview:
Brickfield’s Accessibility+ Toolkit assesses course pages, HTML content, and assessments for accessibility issues, offering instructors the ability to apply bulk fixes for common problems. SensusAccess enables users to convert course files in Moodle, as well as external files, into accessible formats such as audio, ePub, and electronic braille.

Overview:
Class adds teaching and learning tools to Zoom. Class enables active learning, collaboration, and engagement in online classes and virtual instructor-led training.
