Agriculture

Cultivate your career and help feed the world!

By 2050 2.3 billion more people will inhabit the planet. We will have to produce as much food in the next forty years as had been produced during the past 8,000 years. Meeting our future global food demand will require innovative solutions from our next generation of agriculture scientists, professional and producers.

The agriculture program at Cochise will capture the diverse agricultural products specific to Cochise County such as chile production/processing, pecan farming, viticulture, pistachio orchards and dairy production.

Whether you like raising livestock or growing crops, working outside or in a laboratory, improving our country’s vast natural resources, working to monitor and understand the impact of global climate change or working in agri-business, there is a career for you in the vast field agriculture….choose a career in agriculture and help feed the world!
