Orientation is not mandatory. However, it is a very important component to help with the transition into college. The Financial Aid Orientation is required if you are receiving financial aid or loans.

No, you can take the placement test at any time prior to registering for classes. Contact the testing office at: 800-966-7943, ext. 5447 .

You will have the opportunity to see a counselor/advisor, take a placement test, register and buy/rent books prior to or after new student orientation.

You can register before or after orientation at your convenience. Registration is not part of the orientation schedule.

You can buy or rent your books before or after orientation at your convenience. Sign into MyCochise and click the My Classes tab to find the bookstore link.

No. You can have your picture taken and your student ID created at the admissions & registration office. Bring a valid picture ID with you in order to receive your student ID card.

Your student ID number is a number that starts with a “C” and is assigned to you upon receipt of your admission application. You will receive your student ID number in your acceptance letter.

Bring your MyCochise username and login credentials, this information is included in your acceptance letter. An acceptance letter is mailed to your address and sent to the email supplied on your admissions application. If you cannot find your acceptance letter, contact the admissions office at (520) 515-5336 or
